THE TALISMAN SERIES
The Talisman Series is an ongoing body of textile work created in direct reaction to my 2021-22 Fellowship at the V&A Museum. It stems from my research into uses of colour, textile, stones and methodologies for supernatural protection in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Jordan and the wider Middle East over the centuries.
